Beyond Success

Beyond Success:

 

Success is great. But significance is far greater. It is satisfying and lasting. You’ve achieved a measure of success in the first half of life, and it’s been a thrill. But deep in your heart, you know you want your second half to count for something far more. Something bigger than you. That’s significance. You’re not alone; you’re in what is referred to as “Halftime.” You want to discover where your deepest passions intersect with your greatest abilities, and then harness them to help change the world.

 

Success to Significance is how God wants to use the platform that you have developed through your success and now leverage it to influence and help men and women redefine their own success, infusing their lives with eternal significance. 

 

This can happen on two different levels:

 

First with people:

 

At its core, it is building bridges that can bear the weight of truth of who Jesus Christ is within your streams and circles of influence, often within the business community. We train local influencers to conduct Beyond Success tables with other leaders and acquaintances.

Beyond Success tables offer a highly accessible pathway to personal improvement in character and competency as well as showcasing an opportunity to hear Dwight Mason share his faith. We have seen the effectiveness of this strategy throughout the world. People’s lives are changing as they apply the personal growth and leadership development principles and  have been inspired to follow Jesus.  

 

Second with your purpose:

 

The purpose for the first part of most people life was success and financial advancement. Now that you are there, no doubt you are wondering, “Is there more?”  Yes! There is! It is found in repurposing your life for God’s Kingdom and purpose. It is discovering God’s unique purpose for your life. 

 

Go ahead, start dreaming. Significance is within your reach, and it starts by finding the freedom to dream. Many people measure their success by possession, power, prestige, and power. There's nothing wrong with those, but if that’s all you’re focused on, you’re missing the boat. If you learn and choose to focus on significance---using your time, treasures, and talent to serve others---truly meaningful success can come your way.

 

When you get a God dream it will be different than a good dream. A good dream you have it all figured out and know how it will come about. It is more dependent on you. A God dream starts with a passion to bring healing and hope to a specific issue or problem in your community, country, or world. You will not have all the answers, but you will have a passion to address this issue. When you embark on the journey you will begin to experience God bringing people into your life you would have never met otherwise, resources, and experiences as well. This God – the One whose voice you have likely never heard audibly or seen with your eyes -- will become very, very real to you. It will no longer be about having knowledge about God. It will become deeply personal, knowing Him in an intimate way.
